This actually happaned during WWII - young draftee couldn't get his girlfriend out of his mind, to the extent that he was having trouble performing his duties - finally the old sgt got his feet back on the ground with these words: "Son, every time you kiss that girl, just remember you're sucking on a tube that's 26 feet long, 3/4 full of shit and hairy on the other end." Enough said.

How attitudes change

In my younger days in the service, we all said for a girlfriend we wanted a nymph who had her own car, and whose father owned a liquor store. The we "graduated" to more desireable type: "a lady in the living room, a wizard in the kitchen, and a devil in bed." Finally, those of us who caught on, want a woman who can be her own person, be an equal partner, and allowed, yet encouraged to be the boss in her areas of expertice. Major decisions should always be shared, as should love in whatever form it chooses to manifest itself. Life will not always be perfect (as if you could always recognise it if it was) - it takes two to tangle, but also two to harmonize. Give love a chance.

why do women have a tendency to "get religious" whenever they suffer a major setback with their mate/husbsand/boyfriend? It's not God's fault things didn't work out, so why should He have any resposnibility now? Get a life. What will your thoughts be 10 - 15 - 20 + years from now?
